The BETTEGLAZE® enamel technology was developed by Bette in conjunction with Bayer AG and ensures superior colour brilliance as well as a visually smooth and easy-care surface. The thinner, the more stable.
The enamel coating applied to the steel body is a type of glass. The thinner the glass, the more stable it becomes. Whilst a glass rod easily breaks, a thin glass fibre (fibre glass) can be bent to the extreme. In five years of development Bette developed an exclusive process that achieves a maximum level of quality with a minimum level of glaze - which means no scratches, no chipping and no problems with strong cleaning products or other aggressive agents. You are probably only familiar with other such highly durable high-tech surfaces as glass surfaces in the kitchen domain or in sanitary ceramics.
